摘要：El éxito del lanzamiento a portería en balonmano depende en gran medida de la velocidad del balón. Existen escasas evidencias sobre cómo afecta la toma de decisión y oposición en la velocidad del lanzamiento, sin embargo estas hacen presagiar cierta influencia. El presente estudio pretende analizar las diferencias en la velocidad de lanzamiento sin y con oposición. Para ello, ciento seis jugadores de élite internacional (E), amateur (A) y edades formativas (F) fueron evaluados en dos situaciones de velocidad de lanzamiento: sin oposición (VSO) y con oposición (VCO). El análisis de diferencias entre medias constató que la VCO fue inferior (5%; p menor que 0,01) a la VSO mientras que el análisis de la relación reveló valores de correlación medios entre la VSO y la VCO en E (r=0,597; p menor que 0,05) y A (r=0,598; p menor que 0,01) y bajos en F (r=0,378, p=0,01) Se confirma una influencia de la oposición y toma de decisión en la velocidad de lanzamiento, haciendo disminuir la misma. Existe una relación entre la velocidad de lanzamiento sin y con oposición positiva y significativa en los tres grupos analizados. Palabras clave : lanzamiento; toma de decisión; oposición. Abstract Goal shot success in handball mostly depends on ball velocity. Though, there is little evidence on how opposition and decision making affect throwing velocity, these two factors seem to show some influence on it. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in throwing velocity with and without opposition. One hundred and six international elite (E), amateur (A) and formative (F) players were assessed in two throwing velocity situations— with opposition (VO) and without opposition (V). The analysis of mean differences showed that VO was lower (5%, p less than 0.01) than V, while the analysis of the relationship revealed average correlation values between V and VO in E (r = 0597, P less than 0.05) and A (r = 0598, P less than 0.01), and low correlation values in F (r = 0378, p = 0.01). An influence of opposition and decision making in the throwing velocity of players is confirmed, as it decreases the mentioned velocity. Thus, there is a relationship between throwing velocity with and without opposition which is positive and significant in the three groups analysed.
