摘要:The main goal this paper seeks to achieve is to set forth a performance mea suringsystem for franchise sectors currently in place in Brazil, on the basis ofa set of indicators being designed which are related with external factors beingdeemed as critical, and based upon economic and non-economic data beingmade available to the general public by the Associação Brasileira de Franchising(ABF). Five performance indicators have been designed for the systemtogether with their outcomes, and the model shall be applied to a specific segmentwithin the Brazilian franchise system, so as to enable the analysis of databeing gathered, and the reliability test of parameters being used, thus allowingto ensuring both sectors that the model is reliable vis-à-vis the evaluation criteriabeing designed.
