摘要:The paper analyses the performance of products with geographical indication, focusing attention on some distortions that characterize the market for typical agri-food products: territorial concentration of turnover, chain/product differences and distortions that fall on the agricultural sector, which is even more unlikely to benefit from the advantages associated with the recognition of the geographical indication. To demonstrate the position of agricultural sector, both an analysis of the dynamics of farms operating in GI circuits and a comparison between farms with IG and farms without IG are presented.
