摘要:Voluntary associations and cooperation in the wine sector play a particularly relevant role, especially because of the structural peculiarities of the sector as it faces the challenges of a very dynamic market. The chances of survival for a multitude of very small producers, which define the production vocations of rural areas, largely depend on these forms of association. This paper contains the result of a study on the current and potential role of cooperation and Denomination of Origin products from the Province of Siena in a market where the necessity of dialogue and negotiation with Modern Retailing constantly grows, focusing on their relevance in a framework where a major issue for wine producers is the need to develop better commercial skills.
