摘要:Decoupling, cross-compliance and modulation represent the innovative elements introduced with the Mid Term Review. While modulation will produce effects on the mid-long period, decoupling and cross-compliance assume the role of variables able to orient the farmer’s choices in the short period. After one year from the introduction of these new measures, it seems necessary to analyze how these guidelines have been received by the farms and in which way they are able to influence the management of the different farms. The paper focuses on the analysis of the zootechnical farms in the Mugello area, one being organic, the other being conventional. The aim of the work is to examine if at farm level, after the introduction of decoupling and cross-compliance, some changes in the farm management occurred, mainly analysing the differences between the diverse production methods adopted. At the same time, thanks to the implementation of a linear programming method, the paper intends to evaluate which could be the maximum farm gross margin under the present guidelines of the MTR.
