摘要：The paper provides a methodological approach that can be applied to the phase of accreditation of the districts in agriculture for their identification, keeping into account their purpose of governance of the local development processes. The set of statistic techniques adopted points out the distinguishes features of these productive structures, according to the prescription of the national and regional lows, that are briefly discussed. Their application to the hypothesis of a rice chain district in Lombardy allows to appreciate their informative potential and to underline some limitations that suggest further directions of investigation critically analysed in the Conclusions.
