摘要:The research illustrates the different organizational, functional and some possible impacts produced by productive districts with a majority agrofood character, as recognized under the L.R. n. 17 of 2004. Under current legislation the importance of these organizational forms of enterprises is high, because the productive districts could be the main actuators of regional development policies and, therefore, become an instrument for strategic planning and sectorial governance. The analysis is complemented by an empirical analysis on three productive districts, focusing on traditional sectors of agribusiness in Sicily, with significant reflections on the economy and employment in specific territories.
