摘要:International tourism analysis is performed on the demand side, referring to the AIDS model, which consents to test the main hypotheses concerning consumer behaviour. Moreover, expenses on holidays abroad are considerably influenced by income and relative prices. By testing homogeneity and symmetry hypotheses some relevant differ-ences between the UE countries are detected. Finally, prices elasticites provide evi-dence about the relation between domestic prices and holidays abroad and about the interrelation among prices of different destinations.
