摘要：The data made available by the IV cycle of the "Multiscope Survey" conducted by ISTAT were taken in order either to determine whether and in what way an elderly person who does not enjoy good health is assisted by kin, or, on the other hand, to analyse the different kind of aids supplied by elderly persons. Cluster analysis has permitted to identify eight different old-aged person profiles in relation to health status. These groups further permitted to study the levels of some variables which may give a picture of the inter-generational helping network.
