摘要:The object of this work is to study italian househods' tourism expenditure microbehaviours. We analyse the expenditures' allocation between tourism and other goods, and the relations with social and demographic characteristics of italian population. Statistical analysis of tourism expenditures is done using individual data from the household budget survey made by ISTAT for 1985 and 1994 and the Multiple Correspondences Analisys. It finds out the sources of heterogeneity in tourism expenditures with respect to other goods, and shows that variations in households' behaviours are in relation to social and demographic characteristics and to cohort effects.
