  • 摘要:Abstract This study examined the effect of meaning in life to adjustment of Korean high school students and mediation effects of problem- focused coping and self-acceptance. A sample of 200 female high school students completed survey including measures of meaning in life, problem-focused coping, self-acceptance, and school adjustment. There were significant correlations among all the variables of interest in this study. Since the mediating effect of problem-focused coping was significant, while the effect of self-acceptance was not. This suggests that abstract and internal style of coping such as self-acceptance is not effective to solve problems, but a direct behavioral strategy such as problem-focused coping is efficacious.
