This is a transversal study, performed with a sample of 316 PM, consisting of (a) dependent variable: PIR, assessed by WC; (b) covariates: age, marital status, habitual physical activity level (HPAL), length of service, university degree, police function. The results showed 37 % of sedentary or irregularly active MP . For the gross analysis, the PIR was more prevalent among the older MP and sedentary or irregularly active MP. The older PM also showed higher degree level and length of service. After the adjustment by multiple logistic regression, only the age and HPAL remained linked to PIR among the MP.
