摘要:Abstract: this study was aimed at analyzing Physical Education teachers’ life quality at work, considering their academic background and career status in public teaching in Rio Grande do Sul State. 380 Physical Education teachers from primary and high school took part in the study. For data collection, it was utilized the Scale of Life Quality Evaluation at Work Realized by Physical Education Teachers (BOTH et al., 2006). To verify the association occurrence among the variables investigated it was utilized the Chi-Square Test (p<0,05), in software SPSS 11,5. Results revealed that the majority of teachers are satisfied with Life Quality at Work and there was a significant association among the status from public teaching in Rio Grande do Sul State and the dimensions “Work Conditions”, “Social Integration in Work life” and “Social Relevance of life at work”. Significant difference was also pointed out between “Social Relevance in work life” and academic background.
