  • 摘要:The aim of this study was to analyze the degree of professional (dis)satisfaction and respective determinative factors on Physical Education teachers of Children Education. 54 teachers from 2 Municipal Secretaries of Education from Santa Catarina State participated in the study. The information was obtained via questionnaire which presents language clearness and content validity. Chi-square and comparison of proportion tests were applied to the statistical treatment of data (p≤0.05). The majority of the teachers are satisfied with their profession, being observed just the association between the intrinsic reasons for the choice of the profession and the professional satisfaction (p=0.03). The analysis of presence proportions of determinative factors revealed that the pedagogical (teaching) and relational aspects were more significant in relation to professional satisfaction. On the contrary, social, economic, pedagogical (work conditions) and institutional aspects were more frequent in relation to dissatisfaction in teaching.
