摘要：The purpose was to determine the intensity and directionality of the situations that cause stress for athletes of the basic category soccer with different maturation stages. The study included 18 soccer athletes, males with a mean age of 16.6 (± 0.5) years. To collect data we used two instruments, the Inventory of Stress Factors in Soccer (ISF) and the assessment of pubertal stage by skeletal age. The athletes were separated in two groups, early and normal maturation. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 18.0. In addition to descriptive procedures were employed an ANOVA, a significant level of p ≤ 0.05. The results showed that among the sources of stress did not differ between the groups, but among the factors causing stress was significant difference between the groups on three factors ("great superiority of their opponents," "play with a lot of heat"; "technical pressure to win").
