摘要：The aim of this paper is describing and analysing the referentials as a collaborative process envolved in the elaboration of discursive genres, that is, in editorials. We will consider the reference in terms of construction of discursive objects and negociated models of world, based on linguistic, interactive and discursive perspective. The theoretical basis to the present discussion is Mondada & Dubois (2003: 17), who state about the reference process: the categories and the discursive objects which are used by the subject to understand the world are not neither preexistent neither given, but they are elaborated during the activities, changing according to the context. In this way, if we consider that the editorials anchor to discursive practice, we might analyse the role performed by the references as well as the lexical choices of the writters, once the lexical item can be seen as an expression of a thematic content.
