摘要：Este artigo apresenta uma caracterização de contribuições específicas de obras de autores selecionados, todas elas representantes do chamado “renascimento do ambientalismo�?, no final dos anos 1960 e início dos anos 70, como casos privilegiados de retomada da tese malthusiana. São analisados: a) as formas de tratamento dos problemas ambientais em questão; b) os meios propostos para sua solução; e c) a “tradição de pensamento�? recuperada pelos principais debatedores. Finalmente, também são abordadas as principais críticas à tese neo-malthusiana que deram substância ao debate à época.
其他摘要：This paper represents an effort to characterize the specific contributions of a group of authors, all of them representing the so called “rebirth of the environmentalism�?, at the end of the 1960´s and the beginning of the 1970’s, as privileged cases of revival of the Malthusian thesis. We analyze the following aspects: a) the ways used to treat the environmental problems, b) the proposals for their solution, and c) the “thinking tradition�? recovered by the main parts of this debate. Finally, we also examine the most substantive critical contributions to the neo-malthusian thesis at the time.
