摘要：Sob a ótica da Estilística da Enunciação, este artigo analisa a construção discursiva de um conto de Lygia Fagundes Telles. Os resultados mostram que os estilos de discurso do conto não correspondem às teorias existentes e que a miscelânea de estilos formada causa um paradoxo na recepção: proporciona uma velocidade textual que o leitor não acompanha, pois ela dificulta a apreensão do enredo. Desse modo, o efeito de confusão na recepção do leitor exprime brilhantemente o caráter psicológico do conto.
其他摘要：This article analyzed the discursive construction of a short story by Lygia Fagundes Telles anchored in the Stylistic of Enunciation. Results showed that the speech styles of the story do not correspond to the existing theories. Also, the miscellany of styles caused a paradox in the reception: it provided a textual speed which the reader is not able not follow, thus making the plot difficult to apprehend. In this way, the sense of confusion caused in the reader brightly expresses the psychological character of the story.
