摘要：El fenómeno de las ciudades fronterizas del norte de México, dentro de la actual expresión globalizadora, tiene un desempeño único por la situación de las localidades, su volumen poblacional y su funcionalidad en la economía. En el presente artículo se da cuenta de una descripción analítica de ellas tratando de entender, para llegar al final de la investigación, a establecer conceptualmente la nomenclatura funcional de la ocupación del espacio territorial compartido y seleccionado a partir de la línea de frontera internacional.
其他摘要：The phenomenon of the border cities of the North of Mexico, within the present globalizing expression, has a unique performance by the situation of the localities, its population volume and its functionality in the economy. In the present article account of an analytical description of them, occurs trying to understand, to arrive at the end of the investigation, conceptually to establish the functional nomenclature of the occupation of the shared and selected territorial space from the international boundary.
