摘要:This paper analyzes the integration of social media in communication strategies of sectoral policies for elderly in Spanish councils. Through an approach to these policies as communication local of proximity, analyzes their presence in the social media and the usage of 2.0 resources in communicativerelational processes oriented to senior citizens. The results show the existence of a wide range of public policies aimed at senior, whose degree of visibility and diffusion through the social web of local institutions is very heterogeneous.
