摘要：Este ensayo interroga y reformula el concepto de “reciprocidad negativa”. Tras un examen crítico de la relación entre la idea de reciprocidad negativa, tal y como fue formulada por Marshall Sahlins en 1963, y la teoría evolucionista, pasa a plantear una crítica del concepto mismo. Se propone una distinción entre reciprocidad negativa “simétrica” y “asimétrica”, y se aboca a pensar esta segunda clase de intercambios. El ensayo concluye con una reflexión sostenida en torno al modo en que la reciprocidad negativa nos ayuda a desarrollar una sociología comparada de la modernidad, mostrando por qué y cómo varía el imaginario político según la forma de reciprocidad que domina en la mitología nacional.
其他摘要：This essay is a reformulation of the concept of negative solidarity. It begins with a critical reflection on the idea of negative reciprocity, particularly as it was developed by Marshall Sahlins in 1963, and on its connection to evolutionary theory, and then offers a distinction between “symmetrical” and “asymmetrical” forms of negative reciprocity. The piece is dedicated to the second of these forms, and it develops an argument about the significance of negative reciprocity for exchange theory and for the comparative sociology of modernity. It concludes with an analysis of a specific example of a national narrative that is founded on negative reciprocity.
