摘要：El análisis documental de la trayectoria académica y humana de Francisco José Fuertes Piquer (1717- 1789) adquiere un valor representativo de gran importancia para entender las reformas ilustradas que afectan a la universidad española del siglo XVIII. Dicho siglo se define por los particularismos locales propios de las universidades menores y la progresiva uniformización de todas las universidades de la Monarquía. De igual forma cabe destacar la perenne tensión entre el carácter gremial de la institución universitaria y la posible influencia de los poderes públicos. El presente artículo ahonda en las funciones que Fuertes Piquer asumió antes de ser cancelario de la Universidad de Cervera (Depositario de Alhajas y Diputado 2º en el Monte de Piedad de Madrid y a la vez fue colegial, catedrático y Rector de la Universidad de Alcalá) y cómo estas experiencias condicionaron su labor como máxima autoridad de la Universidad de Cervera desde 1762 hasta 1789, año de su fallecimiento.
其他摘要：The documentary analysis of the academic and human trajectory of Francisco J.Fuertes Piquer (17171789) acquires a representative value of great importance in understanding the enlightened reforms affecting the Spanish university in the XVIII century. This century is defined by the local peculiarities of the lesser universities together with the progressive move towards uniformity of all the universities of the Monarchy, and the perennial tension between the gremial character of the university institution and the possible influence of the powers public is likewise noteworthy. The present article is an in-depth study of Fuertes Piquer prior to his becoming chancellor of the University of Cervera (Jewel Deposit taker and Deputy in the Monte de Piedad at Madrid and, at the same time, schoolboy, professor, and Director of the University of Alcalá) and how these experiences influenced his work as the chief authority of the University of Cervera from 1762 to 1789, the year of his death.
