摘要：In order to encourage dialogue with the teacher and strengthen interaction among students to achieve a certain task , Journalism Degree from the Open University of Madrid ( UDIMA ) has been carried out based on an interdisciplinary experience knowledge and use of tools that allow a synchronous online communication. At the same time , the formulation of this exercise addresses the need to provide information future professionals new tools according to the current technological context through the use of Google Hangouts. This new type of video chat ‘s main distinguishing feature the ability to deliver content in an open , real- time via Google+ page or YouTube channel creator of the session. One possibility that has been explored in other contexts by great personalities such as Barack Obama in his reelection campaign by Steven Spielberg or in presenting the trailer of his film Lincoln ( 2012). Based on previous experiences in the field of Computer- Supported Collaborative Learning ( CSCL ) and taking as reference model the critical variables for quality training in new media environments expert Julio Cabero , we have designed an innovative interdisciplinary teaching character ; a proposal the teacher -learning processes from virtual meetings ; exploring new environments and collaborative resources to grab expand the potential use of the Moodle open source platform , introducing Google Hangouts ; and the acquisition of new skills for the development of journalism in the digital age through the use of online synchronous communication tools
