摘要：Nuestra investigación nace con el objetivo de analizar el seguimiento, el tratamiento y la valoración que hizo la prensa española del Caso Watergate y de su máximo protagonista, el presidente Richard Nixon. El estudio se contextualiza en la situación política española y en la coyuntura internacional del periodo comprendido entre los años 1972-1974. Finalmente, hemos analizado las noticias referidas al Caso Watergate con motivo de la muerte de Richard Nixon en el año 1994, en los diarios nacionales de mayor tirada en esa fecha —ABC, Ya, El Mundo y El País—, con el objetivo de examinar las valoraciones e interpretaciones del suceso y de su principal protagonista dos décadas después.
其他摘要：In this paper we analize the way the spanish press (ABC, Ya, Informaciones, Pueblo and El Alcázar) followed the Watergate Case and its main character Richard Nixon. This study is made relating it with the spanish politic context and the international situation between 1972 and 1974. Finally we have analized news concerning Watergate Case coinciding with Richard Nixon death in 1994 in the most important papers at that time (ABC, Ya, El Mundo and El País), with the aim of examining the valoration and interpretations of this case and of its main character two decades later.
