摘要:Ethics establishes a divide between good and evil based on society-shared values, from which stems the legitimation of the norms derived therefrom, as well as their use as an expression of power. This reasoning bitterly resents, however, when its components are turned upside down. That is to say, when it is the expression of power that implements and normalizes an Ethics that is imposed over society. This happened in modern Argentina when a biopolitical amalgamation of science and power —operating through Social Darwinism, Eugenics and Biotypology— helped to re-create an alleged Ethics of exclusion.
