摘要：The lack of primary sources makes it still easy to find unexplored territories when referring to the afro descendants of Buenos Aires in the XIXth century. Here we will analyze their intervention in the presidential elections in 1874. We will see, through the analysis of the newspapers that this community used to edit, the importance of these political moments, the organization they sewed for these times and the different ways in which they were seduced and recruited.
