摘要：This work shows the main features of smelting furnaces for copper and tin ores, for the first time compared with the analytical study of metallurgical debris found in the Iberian Peninsula, dated from Chalcolithic up to Roman time. After the bibliographic criticism and the empirical analysis carried out, as a contribution it can be established that the crucible-furnace was the most common method used both for copper and bronze production, during Iberian Pre-and Protohistory.
