摘要:The question of the perspective shown by Paleolithic animal representations has interested researchers since the early twentieth century. Traditionally it has been used to support a phenomenon of linear evolution towards the attainment of expertise in graphic representation. In recent decades, this evolutionary model has been in crisis, questioning what was previously known about the perspective. To address this issue, we have analyzed quantitatively, practically and individually some zoomorphic characteristics of 11 Cantabrian rock art localities. The results argue for the existence of different groups of Palaeolithic rock art sites in the Cantabrian area. Moreover, we propose that the different graphic behaviors of these groups are directly related to the existence of a different chronology for each of them.
