摘要：El presente artículo se basa en el estudio desarrollado durante 2008 en el marco institucional del Centro de Atención Integral a las Drogodependencias (CAID) Este, en torno a las características sociales y la evolución de los usuarios en tratamiento sustitutivo opiáceo desde 1994 hasta junio de 2008. Los aspectos sociales seleccionados para el desarrollo de esta investigación se centran en las características sociodemográficas, lugar de residencia y estilo convivencial, relaciones familiares, antecedentes legales, situación laboral y económica, intervenciones sociales llevadas a cabo y trayacetoria/evolución de los usuarios en el tratamiento con clorhidrato de metadona. Se busca la posible correlación de estas situaciones sociales con el problema de consumo y la influencia del tratamiento sustitutivo sobre ellas. Para ello se analizan parámetros similares tanto al inicio del tratamiento como en el momento final del mismo. El interés empírico por este campo surge de la intervención social que se viene desarrollando en este ámbito desde hace más de quince años y la evolución a nivel teórico, institucional, político, social, legislativo, etc que ha ido desarrollándose a lo largo de las últimas décadas.
其他摘要：This article is based on a study developed during 2008 within the Eastern Office of the Centre for Integral Attention to Drug Addiction (Spanish acronym: «CAID»). The study focuses on the social characteristics and evolution of users in opiate substitution treatment from 1994 to June 2008. The social aspects selected for this study focus on socio demographic characteristics, place of residence and living situation, family relations, legal/criminal background, employment and economic status, social welfare attention history and the trajectory/evolution of the users in methadone hydrochloride treatment. The study sought the possible correlation of these social situations with the problem of consumption and the influence of replacement therapy on them. To accomplish this, similar parameters were analysed at the beginning of treatment and at the end of it. Empirical interest in this field springs from social intervention that has developed over the past fifteen plus years and developments at the theoretical, institutional, political, social, legislative, etc., levels that have developed over the last few decades.
