摘要：El artículo aquí presentado, tiene como objetivo hacer una reflexión sobre ciertos elementos del rol del trabajador social que son necesarios desarrollan y aplican en la práctica profesional, en correspondencia con las expectativas de la profesión y favorecido por los cambios sociales y tecnológicos de lo que se ha dado en llamar sociedad del conocimiento. En una primera parte se hace una aproximación al estado del debate en torno a tres problemas básicos de la identidad profesional del Trabajo Social, tales como el controvertido objeto de la profesión, su supuesto carácter científico o tecnológico y la polarización de la intervención entre el nivel individual y el nivel socio-estructural. En la segunda parte se realiza un acercamiento empírico al desempeño del rol profesional sobre la base de distintos estudios y cuyos resultados revelan el escaso desarrollo de las actividades interdisciplinares, de coordinación y colaboración interprofesional e interinstitucional realizados por los trabajadores sociales. Por último, se proponen una serie de pautas innovadoras en la profesión, que pasan por la elaboración de estrategias de acción e intervención que enfatizan la cooperación y la coordinación como elementos sustantivos y centrales que refuercen la eficacia del rol del trabajador social y contribuyan a su diferenciación identitaria frente a otras profesiones afines.
其他摘要：The article here presented has as objective do a reflection on certain elements of the role of the social worker that are necessary to develop and to apply in the professional practice, in correspondence with the expectation; of the profession and favored by the social and technological changes of what has been given in called society of the knowledge on of the information. In the first part an approximation is done to the state of the debate concerning three basic problems of the professional identity of the social work, as the controversial object of the profession, his supposed scientific or technological character and the polarization of the intervention between the individual level and the level structural-social. In the second part an empirical approximation is realized so the performance of the professional role on the base of different studies realized and whose results reveal the scanty development of the activities you will inter discipline, of coordination and inter-professional and interinstitucional cooperation realized by the social workers. Finaly, there propose a series of innovative guidelines On the profession that they happen for the production of strategies of action and intervention that they emphasize the cooperation and the coordination as substantive and central elements that reinforcerment the efficiency of the role of the social worker ant they contribute to is differentiation of identity opposite to other related professions
