摘要：Se determinan las características sobre ansiedad física social y la autodescripción física en 55 varones fisicoculturistas usuarios de esteroides anabolizantes y 95 no usuarios, valorado el consumo a través del Índice de Masa Corporal Libre de Grasa (Kouri, Pope y Katz, 1995). En la escala SPAS (Hart, Leary y Rejeski, 1989) los consumidores dan unos valores superiores a los no consumidores en la puntuación total (t=2,721 p=0,008) y en la “expectativa ante la evaluación negativa” (t=2,710 p=0,008) y muy ajustadas las diferencias en el “confort con la presencia física” (t=1,939 p=0,054). En autodescripción, valorada mediante el PSDQ (Marsh y Sutherland, 1994), se muestran que los no usuarios puntúan por encima en la autodescripción física (t=2,431 p=0,016). Sin embargo, no se dan diferencias en las puntuaciones globales en autodescripción de la forma física (t=1,542 p=0,125). Se observan las correlaciones inversas y significativas entre las dos escalas; con la dimensión “autodescripción física” (r=-0,583 p=0,000) y con “autodescripción de la forma física” (r=-0,337 p=0,000)

Nevertheless, there are no differences given in the global scores in self description of the physical form (t=1,542 p=0,125).
