摘要：En el año 2006 Emel Meneses presentó en el Salón Regional de Artistas una serie de dibujos titulados “Uribe Vélez”, retratos extraídos de fotografías de prensa del mandatario colombiano, poniendo en escena la relación siempre conflictiva y polémica que existe entre el arte, la política y los medios de comunicación, entre representación mediática y representación política, entre el arte y la teatralización del poder.
其他摘要：In the year 2006 Emel Meneses presented in the Regional Artists Salon a series of drawings entitled “Uribe Vélez”, portraits extracted from newspapers pictures of the Colombian leader, placing in scene the always conflicting and polemic relationship that exists between art, politics and media, between media representation and political representation, between art and the staging of power.
