摘要：The theoretical and empirical debates on the relationship between globalization and economic growth are still hot, and worth to keep studying on. This paper makes two contributions into the literature. First, although there is a wide array of literature examines the cross-country and panel studies using comprehensive measure of globalization such as KOF index, none of them has solely focused on the causality relationship between different types of globalization and economic growth in Turkey. Second, despite the fact that many papers investigate the linkages between economic growth and single variables of KOF index (i.e. foreign direct investment, and trade openness) in Turkey, none of them has used an advance measurement for globalization. So, the purpose of this study is thus to fulfilling this gap, and to examine the causality connection between economic globalization (ECON), political globalization (POL), social globalization (SOC), and overall globalization (GLOB) and economic growth (GR) in Turkey using econometrics in time-series methods. Findings of this paper exhibit that there are bi-directional causalities between economic globalization, social globalization, and overall globalization and economic growth.
