摘要：Este artículo presenta, a través de la vida y obra del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, el tema del mestizaje y las posibilidades de integración a la rígidamente estructurada sociedad que era la América colonial del siglo XVI. El artículo define el significado del término mestizo con la intención de clarificar el momento preciso, y las razones por las cuales, los mestizos fueron empujados a los márgenes de la sociedad colonial. A continuación, Bonnett analiza las condiciones de vida generales de los mestizos para explicar los mecanismos de integración, adoptados por Garcilaso, para luchar contra los prejuicios sociales presentes en su propia sociedad.
其他摘要：This article presents, through the life and work of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, the theme of mestizaje and the possibilities of integration into the rigidly structure society that was colonial Latin America in the sixteenth century. The article defines the meaning of the term mestizo with the intention of clarifying the precise monent when, and the reasons why, mestizos were pushed to the margins of colonial society. Next, Bonnett analyzes the general living conditions of the mestizo in order to explain the integrating mechanisms, adopted by Garcilaso, to fight social prejudices present in his own society.
