摘要：Las tramas espectrales que arma en tomo al Che Guevara el nuevo orden mundial posterior alfin de la Guerra Fría, le sirve a Jean Franco para estudiar críticamente la memoria histórica y colectiva frente a las gramáticas de representación que impone la cultura del consumo. Desde lasbiografías de Jorge Castañeda, Paco Ignacio Taibo 11y Jon Lee Anderson y las instalaciones de Liliana Porter, Alberto Gómez y Leandro Katz, Franco cartografía las inflexiones discursivas, políticas y estéticas que convoca el Che en tanto icono cultural transnacional dentro de las redes del imaginario del fin de siglo en Occidente.

Departing from tbe biographies of Jorge Castañeda, Paco IgnacioTaibo 11and Jon Lee Anderson, together with the installations by Liliana Porter, Alberto Gómezand Leandro Katz, Franco draws the discursive, political and aesthetic inflexions that convenethe figure of Che, as a transnational cultural icon within the imaginary net at the end ofthe 20th century in the Westem World.
