摘要：O presente trabalho aborda as transformações, dinâmicas e interações espaço- temporais ocorridas no estado do Rio Grande do Sul nos municípios de Canguçu e Horizontina. O primeiro está situado no sudeste do estado, já o segundo município na porção noroeste. Ambas as áreas possuem a evolução atrelada ao desenvolvimento da agricultura brasileira, porém de forma diferenciada. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise descritiva com abordagem qualitativa junto à amostra da população das áreas em estudo. A amostra foi aleatória e intencional por abarcar tão somente a população rural dos municípios. Os resultados permitem verificar que embora processos não homogêneos aconteçam no campo, existem aspectos convergentes que interferem diretamente nas formas e relações decorrentes, transformadores do espaço ao longo do tempo, alterando realidades do mundo rural. As novas perspectivas inseridas, quais sejam, trabalho em tempo parcial na agricultura, atividades de serviço ou instalação de pequenas agroindústrias, elucidam iniciativas que apontam para novas especificidades surgidas no âmbito do campo. As mesmas adaptam demandas externas ao rural e apresentam estreitas relações entre o rural e o urbano.
其他摘要：The present study approaches the transformations, the dynamics and the space-temporal interactions occurred in the cities of Canguçu and Horizontina, both located in Rio Grande do Sul state of Brazil. The first is located in the South-Eastern part of the state, whereas the second encompasses a portion of North-Western portion of it. Both areas have their evolution linked to the development of the Brazilian agriculture, however with differentiated means. The methodology used was the descriptive analysis, with a qualitative approach in the samples of both populations. The sample was random and intentional in including only the rural population of both cities. The results show that despite the fact that non-homogeneous processes are implemented on the field, there are convergent aspects that interfere directly in the resulting relationships, transforming the space over the course of time, and modifying the reality of the rural world. The new inserted perspectives, whatever they are (work in partial time in agriculture, service activities or installation of small agroindustry’s) show initiatives that point to new specificities that arise in the rural sphere. These adapt external demands to the rural, presenting narrow relationships between the rural and the urban.
