摘要：O presente trabalho discute os resultados de uma pesquisa realizada com alunos da rede pública de ensino, quanto às crenças (valoração positiva ou negativa) em relação ao ensino de língua portuguesa. Baseando-se em preceitos de Wallace Lambert (1972), com relação à psicologia da linguagem, busca-se analisar as crenças e eventuais atitudes dos alunos em relação ao ensino de Língua Portuguesa. Para tanto, foram aplicados questionários com oito questões a dez estudantes (ambos os sexos, na faixa etária de 15 a 16 anos) do segundo ano do ensino médio de um tradicional colégio na região central de Londrina – PR. Os resultados geraram cinco gráficos para auxílio da visualização das respostas dos entrevistados. Concluiu-se que: (i) as crenças negativas se encontram mais atreladas ao professor; (ii) os alunos não conseguem estabelecer uma relação entre o ensino de língua portuguesa e sua aplicação na vida profissional, pelo distanciamento dos métodos de ensino de sua realidade social; (iii) as alunas apresentam maior desenvoltura no uso da linguagem ao responder o questionário do que os alunos.
其他摘要：This work discusses the results of a research with students from public schools, concerning beliefs (positive or negative valuation) for Portuguese language teaching. Based on precepts of Wallace Lambert (1972), relating to psychology of language, it seeks to analyse beliefs and possible student attitudes regarding the Portuguese language teaching. For that, it was applied a questionnaire with eight questions to ten students (both sexes, aged 15 to 16 years) from the second year of secondary year in a traditional school in Londrina city center. The results originated five graphs which helped in the interviewees’ answers. It was concluded that: (i) the negative beliefs are more connected with the teacher; (ii) students cannot establish a relationship between the teaching of Portuguese language and its application in their professional lives, because of the distance of the teaching methods from their social reality; (iii) the female students have greater ease in use of language when answering the questionnaire than male students.
