摘要：Resumo: Durante o domínio português da costa leste de África nos séculos XVI e XVII , a língua suaíli incorporou muitos empréstimos portugueses permitindo a população local designar as realidades novas. Este artigo explica as mudanças morfológicas sofridas por esses empréstimos, como: a aquisição dos prefixos , a sua distribuição nas classes nominais , a aquisição do sufixo locativo, a flexão em número ( singular / plural ) por meio de prefixos , a concordância mediante prefixos dependentes , etc. O substantivo e o adjectivo constituem-se por um prefixo e um tema , enquanto que o infinitivo compreende um prefixo, um radical e um final. Os derivados são constituídos por uma base de origem portuguesa e um afixo derivacional. Quanto aos compostos , contêm um empréstimo português associado a uma palavra suaíli. Abstract: During the portuguese domination of African East Coast in the XVIº and XVIIº centuries, the swahili language took a lot of portuguese borrowings , giving to the local po-pulation the possibility of designation the new realities. This work is about morphologic changes taken by those borrowings as: the acquisition of prefixes , its distribution on nominal class , the acquisition of locative suffix , the flection in number ( singular/ plural ) by prefixes , the concordance by dependents prefixes , etc. The substantive and the adjective are formed by a prefix and a theme , otherwise the infinitive contains a prefix , a radical and a final. The derivatives are formed by a portuguese original base and a derivative affix. Concerning the compounds , they include a portuguese borrowing associated to a swahili word.
