摘要:In the last years, either progress in landscape archaeology as well as studies on the epigraphy of production areas, have contribute to increase our volume of information. However, such headway not always has come along with an improvement in the data interpretation, in other words, in the study of the complex forms of landownership and management of resources in Roman Spain. We believed it is necessary to integrate diverse types of existent documentation sources, and we propose in the present case to study a working model focus on the gens Licinia. The importance of this gens in the Northeast of the Peninsula and the outstanding volume of information preserved allow us to put forward a series of methodological and historical reflections we judge significant.
