摘要：The main subject of this paper is the study of Late Roman belts, found in Hispania. After a revision of the archaeological evidence about this topic, the article suggests that some degree of classification is necessary. The origin of this pattern, as well as their geographical distribution and their chronology has been studied. Finally, the function of these items is interpreted, concluding that they are authentic cingula militae .
