摘要：Comparison between Classical Latin and Romance languages allows us to see the development of the idea of “conflict”. Having that progression in mind, this paper focuses on the study of the lexicographical problem which arises from the use of the Latin noun conflictus and its changing semantic field, through the analysis of Latin documents generated in Catalonia in the High Middle Ages, which form the basis of the research for the Glossarium Mediae Latinitatis Cataloniae .
