摘要：Justificativa e Objetivos: Psiconeuroimunologia é uma área para a atuação do enfermeiro, pois proporciona a aplica- ção de uma prática individualizada e humanista percebendo o paciente como um todo e atuando em aspectos físicos e psicológicos. O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar a atividade das células Natural killer (NK) em mulheres com câncer de mama quando utilizada a técnica de relaxamento nas intervenções de enfermagem, e examinar a relação entre a atividade dessas células com o padrão de comportamento para stress e coping. Método: Trata-se de um ensaio clínico aleatorizado realizado com mulheres mastectomizadas, que foram submetidas ao tratamento quimioterápico. Resultado: Observa-se que os valores da atividade das células NK na 1ª dosagem dos grupos controle e experimental não foram significativos, o que demonstra que os grupos controle e experimental são inicialmente homogêneos. Entretanto, as mesmas razões na 2ª dosagem das células NK, nos mesmos grupos, foram significativas. Conclusão: A intervenção de enfermagem utilizando a técnica de relaxamento modificou a atividade das células NK, pois ocorreu aumento da atividade nas mulheres do grupo experimental após aprendizagem e prática da técnica de relaxamento.
其他摘要：Backgound and Objectives: Psychoneuroimmunology is one of the areas in charge of nurses, as it provides the implementation of an individualized and humanistic practice, perceiving the patient as a whole and aiming at physical and psychological aspects. The objective of this study was to evaluate the activity of Natural Killer (NK) cells in women with breast cancer when the relaxation technique was used in nursing interventions and assess the association between the activity of NK cells and the pattern of behavior for stress and coping. Method: This is an experimental study with a quantitative approach, carried out with mastectomized women submitted to chemotherapy. Results: It was observed that NK cell levels, at the 1st measurement, were not statistically different between the control and experimental groups, demonstrating that the control and experimental groups were initially homogeneous. However, the same groups showed significant differences at the 2nd measurement. Conclusion: The nursing intervention using the relaxation technique modified the activity of NK cells, as the women in the experimental group showed increased activity after learning and practicing relaxation techniques.
