摘要：En los últimos años estamos asistiendo a la presentación de proyectos de rehabilitación sobre antiguas edificaciones industriales de gran envergadura muy innovadores y rompedores frente a la rehabilitación tradicional. Estas nuevas actuaciones suscitan polémica entre los que apoyan el mantenimiento, recuperación y protección del patrimonio industrial, pues en muchos casos se piensa que se ridiculiza o mutila el mismo, eliminando parte del rastro de su memoria industrial; como es el caso de Caixa Forum Madrid, proyecto sobre la imponente fábrica de electricidad del Mediodía, donde el único elemento reconocible de la misma es parte de su fachada de ladrillo, que queda insertada dentro del conjunto como un elemento decorativo más.Es indudable el carácter innovador e incluso artístico de esta actuación, como de otras muchas de características similares, pero esto me lleva a las siguientes preguntas: ¿Esta es la única manera de conseguir que estos magníficos edificios industriales se mantengan y recuperen? ¿Es posible realizar actuaciones innovadoras sin hacer desaparecer el carácter industrial del edificio?Con este artículo pretendo abordar estas cuestiones, mostrando algunos casos actuales de actuaciones sobre patrimonio industrial arquitectónico.
其他摘要：In recent years we have witnessed the presentation of rehabilitation projecets on old large industrial buildings very innovative and groundbreaking compared to traditional rehabilitation. These new actions raise controversy between those who support the maintenance, restoration and protection of industrial heritage, since in many cases is thought to be ridiculed or mutilate it, eliminating part of their industrial memory trace, as is the case of Caixa Forum Madrid, imposing the project on the South electric Factory, where the only recognizable element of it is part of the brick facade, which is inserted into the set as a decorative element.No one can deny the innovative nature of the intervention and even its artistic nature, like many other similar features, but this brings me to the following questions: Is this the only way to get that these magnificent industrial buildings are maintained and retrieved? Is it possible to make innovative actions without removing the industrial character of the building?With this article I try to tackle these issues, showing some actual cases of industrial architectural heritage performances.
