摘要：En este artículo nos vamos a detener en la definición de los conceptos de Globalización y de Desarrollo Sostenible, para intentar captar algunas de sus características más importantes, y hacer un balance de sus consecuencias, objetivos y evolución a través de las últimas décadas. Posteriormente nos acercaremos a algunas de las críticas que se le hacen al Desarrollo Sostenible, y que tendremos que tener presentes si no queremos que se conviertan en realidad, truncando todo el proceso. También nos detendremos a analizar las formas en las que se está sustanciando el Desarrollo Sostenible, tanto desde una perspectiva global, relacionada con el cambio de valores individuales y sociales, como desde una perspectiva más tecnológica, centrada en la eficiencia productiva y en los avances técnico-científicos. Veremos que ambas vertientes son necesarias, y pueden implementarse, pero que también debe realizarse un cambio de valores dentro del Sistema social (político y cultural). Un cambio que no se limite a los valores personales e incluso sociales (con toda la importancia que éstos tienen para poder cambiar a conductas que vayan en la línea de la sostenibilidad), sino que se extienda a la forma de gobernar, a la manera de tomar decisiones colectivas, y especialmente al reparto de poder económico.↓Artikulu honetan, Globalizazioaren eta Garapen Iraunkorraren kontzeptuen definizioa aztertuko dugu; horrela, horien ezagugarri garrantzitsuenetako batzuk ikusi ahal izango ditugu eta azken hamarkadetan izandako ondorioak, helburuak eta bilakaera aztertuko ditugu. Ondoren, garapen iraunkorraren inguruan egin diren kritiketako batzuk aurkeztuko ditugu, kontuan hartu beharrekoak baitira, errealitate bihurtu eta prozesu osoa zapuztu ez dezaten. Halaber, garapen iraunkora nola gauzatzen ari den ere aztertuko dugu, nola ikuspegi globaletik begiratuta (balore indibidual eta sozialen aldaketarekin erlazionatuta dagoena), hala ikuspegi teknologikoagotik (ekoizpen-eraginkortasunean eta aurrerapen tekniko eta zientifikoetan nagusituta). Ikusiko dugun bezala, bi alderdi horiek beharrezkoak dira eta ezarri ere egin daitezke, baina beharrezkoa da, gainera, gizarte-sisteman (politikoan nahiz kulturalean) balio-aldaketa egitea. 其他摘要：In this article we will focus on the definitions of the concepts of Globalisation and Sustainable Development, in order to trace some of their most relevant features and analyse its consequences, aims and evolution over the last decades. Afterwards, we will take an approach to some of the criticisms concerning Sustainable Development, and which must be taken into account, so that they do not become true and, therefore, do not truncate the whole process. We will also provide an analysis of how the Sustainable Development is taking shape, which will be carried both from a global perspective, which related to the change in individual and social values, and from a more technological perspective, which focuses on production efficiency and technical and scientific developments. As we will see, both perspectives are necessary and can be implemented, even though some changes need to be done in the values of the social (political and cultural) system. Such changes do not refer only to personal and social values —these are very important to help us adopt attitudes that are on the line of sustainability—, but also to the way of governing, the way in which decisions are made and, especially, to the distribution of economic power.
