摘要：Digital preservation is increasingly recognised as a vital part of managing digital resources. Australian institutions, particularly libraries and archives, are making good progress in this challenging new area, including a number of projects at the National Library of Australia. The new Digital Services Project, including the PANDORA archive, and the PADI web site are prominent features. There is a strong need for national cooperation, international collaboration and knowledge sharing for further development.
