摘要：This work is part of a doctoral thesis that is being developed in Literature Studies by the Federal Fluminense University and tries to unrevel the relation between the Charlemagne narrative with the religion called tambor de mina in Maranhão. The research focuses primarily on issues related to memory and orality in an attempt to find the thread that binds literature and religion, and the yalorixá is the main element of this link.
