摘要：PT. General Motors Automotive Style Authorized Assembler (an Astra International Subsidiary) has been producing various types of cars, where one of the examples is a BMW 530i. BMW 530i luxury car belonging to persist with the various advantages it has. The BMW 530i has a fascination for many upper middle class. Seeing that success, it is necessary to do an analysis on what it can support the smooth process of production, concept and types of manufacturing, and applications and the constraints faced when implementing production systems. The research method used is bibliography study, observation, and interviews. These methods useful in conducting analysis in order to obtain a conclusion. PT. Gaya Motor applying a mixture production process, ie between the continuous process with intermittent process.. Production system that is run is Total Production System adopts the advantages of other production systems. Implementation is done on the system include the presence of just in time, jidoka, cluster quality control, kaizen, 5S concept, and MRP II (based on lot sizes).
