  • 摘要:Turning off bedroom lights via a switch on the wall when sleep comes is atroublesome thing for some people. Infrared switch (IRS) which is arranged byDavid Setya Atmaja is a light switch that can be controlled remotely usinginfrared signals, but IRS performs switching when it receives the emittedinfrared signal with a frequency between 36 kHz and 56 kHz, even if the beamis not aimed to him. Besides that the IRSs power supply uses a transformer thathas not small weight and size, and generates heat when it operates. Therefore theauthor develops a IRS with a new device called Embedded Infra Red SwitchSystem (EIRS System) which consists of EIRS Remote Control and EIRSReceiver. Coding technique (coding) is used for sending infrared signals, so thatEIRS System is not affected by the infrared signal emitted by the remote controlother devices. Non-transformer power supply is used to replace the normalpower supply functions using a transformer. EIRS System is a practical remoteswitching solution as the development of the Infrared Switch that has introducedpreviously. Based on the testing of EIRS system, it can be stated that theswitching success rate of 100%, maximum operating distances of EIRS System500 cm, operating angle is 120o to distance 300 cm up to 500cm, and there is nointerference from other remote control.
