摘要：Manual data processing of book circulation atlibrary is no longer appropriate because it candecrease work efficiency and effectiveness.Therefore, alteration is required by utilizingcomputerized processing to accelerate dataprocessing, provide accurate information, andgive sufficient service for visitors. Related toit, the aim of this research is to create newcomputerized application system by utilizingapplication of Visual Basic 6.0 and MicrosoftDatabase SQL server 2000.Database design is using flow-chartdiagram concept, entity-relationaldiagram, and normalization. Theapplication consists of several menus thatcan be accessed by members and librarystaffs. General menu, which can beaccessed by members comprises of searchmenu to look for members and books.Transactional menu, which can beaccessed by library staffs, comprises ofbook circulation.
