摘要:People’s consumption behavior has changed nowadays. Things like food, beverages, fashion and fun have entered the global area of lifestyle and become part of modern life. This study is aimed at describing the consumption behavior of high school economics teachers based on the islamic spiritual motivation. The research design uses a quantitative-qualitative research approach. The sample was determined by proportional random sampling purpose to estimates an error rate at 5%, the research uses a sample of 126 respondents. The quantitative data is obtained by using questionnaires. While for the qualitative interview guide was used. The results showed that (1) spiritual motivation of economic studies teachers in the high category (2) teachers’ consumption behavior of economic subjects included in either category, (3) there is a significant positive effect of islamic spiritual motivation on the consumption behavior, (4) Consumption behavior is influenced by perceptions formed from beliefs values derived from religion, (5) internalization process of spiritual values through individual, family, school and community culture with the written, oral and actual behavior is a very effective form of teachers’ perceptions. The teachers need to improve their knowledge, philosophy, concept, scope and implementation on syariah economy to motivate themselves spiritually in their consumption behavior.
